Mesa Verde Lavender Farm | Mancos, Colorado
Gates open at 5:00 PM | Music begins at 6:00 PM
Limited tickets available
An intimate evening of live music, picnicking, and golden-hour time on the farm.
We’re gathering for our third Lavender Porch Session of the summer, this time with singer-songwriter Leah Grams Johnson.
As the days begin to get a little shorter, we’re starting this one earlier. Come to the farm at 5:00 PM to find a picnic spot, wander the fields, eat dinner, and settle in before the music begins at 6:00 PM.
Leah is an artist and songwriter whose music lives somewhere between folk, country, and the wide-open spirit of the American West. Originally from the rugged coast of Northern California, she was raised on the music of women like Emmylou Harris and Joni Mitchell and has built a sound rooted in thoughtful songwriting, rich vocals, and a deep sense of place.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, Leah has been a finalist in songwriting competitions including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. Her debut record, State of Grace, was released this spring, and she now divides her time between writing songs in Nashville and singing them throughout the West.
She describes herself beautifully as her own kind of cowgirl mystic, living on gut feelings and an unshakeable love for the world. We have a feeling her music is going to feel right at home here.

Calm Day at the Farm
Sunday, August 30, 2026
10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Mesa Verde Lavender | Mancos, Colorado
Come spend a slow day with us at the farm.
Calm Day at the Farm is an invitation to step away from the noise, spend time outside, and reconnect with your body, your breath, and the natural world.
Join us for one workshop or make a full day of it with both. Between sessions, bring a picnic, find a peaceful place to sit around the farm, wander, sip tea, and give yourself permission to have nowhere else to be.
The day will be guided by Heather Leavitt Martinez, an author, facilitator, artist, and certified Earth Tantra practitioner who creates spaces for people to slow down, listen to their bodies, and connect more deeply with themselves and the earth.
The Day
10:00–11:30 AM
Blue Lotus: Tea, Presence & Connection
Begin the day with a gentle Blue Lotus tea experience designed to invite presence, curiosity, and deeper connection with yourself and the natural world.
Together, we’ll explore:
The history and traditions surrounding Blue Lotus
How Blue Lotus can be used intentionally as a tea and plant practice
Simple ways to slow down, listen, and create personal ritual
This workshop is an opportunity to begin the day grounded, open, and curious, with a deeper appreciation for this ancient plant and what becomes available when we make space to simply be with ourselves and the earth.
11:30 AM–12:30 PM
Picnic Hour at the Farm
Bring your own lunch, blanket, or chair and settle in for a picnic on the farm.
Complimentary farm tea will be provided, and guests attending either workshop are welcome to spend the hour enjoying the land, wandering the farm, visiting with one another, or simply finding a quiet place to rest.
Please bring your own lunch.
12:30–2:00 PM
Root 2 Heart: An Embodied Breath Journey
In the afternoon, Heather will guide us through an embodied breath practice moving from root to heart.
This experience is designed to invite you out of your head and into greater awareness of your body, breath, and inner landscape.
Together, we’ll explore:
The Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, and Heart energy centers
How breath and attention can help us notice and move energy through the body
Earth Tantra’s practice of Stop, Connect, Listen, Trust
Leave feeling more grounded, centered, and connected to your body, with a simple breath practice you can return to whenever you want to reconnect with yourself and the earth.
